Organic European Linen Duvet Cover Sets Details and Specifications
The Modern Dane duvet cover sets are made from only the finest organic Belgian, French, and Dutch flax and are woven and hand-sewn in Portugal. They are highly eco-friendly and certified free from harmful chemicals (OEKO-TEX® Standard 100). We are using a medium weight thread, which we have found to perfectly balance quality, durability, and comfort.
Each set includes one duvet cover and two standard size pillow cases. The pillowcases have a 1" decorative flange around the edges (no ruffles). The pillowcases are envelope style with an 8" inner flap to keep the pillow tucked inside.
Our linen duvet covers close with our custom designed acrylic wood-replica buttons. The buttons are machine- and dryer-safe and are made to be as durable as the line duvet covers themselves. They are just the right size for easy buttoning and not coming undone. They are all adorned with the Modern Dane logo.
The duvet covers have a 12" flap inside the opening, which helps keep the duvet itself where you want it — inside the cover.
Each duvet cover has four inner corner-ties. Tie a quick bow on each corner and rest easy knowing your duvet insert will never slip around inside the cover. It's the little things that make for a good night's sleep.
The duvet covers have a protected "European Flax" tag guaranteeing traceability of the linen. And next to it you'll find a little Danish flag attached as our signature and a tribute to the Scandinavian values of design, quality, and sustainability that guide us every day.
