- I don't understand what the ties are all about. Wonder if the background color is a bright white? And is the blue on the underside of the duvet cover? Thanks - it's gorgeous to look at online.
- Great questions, Mary! The ties are small fabric loops sewn into the inside corners of the duvet cover. They let you secure your duvet insert so it stays in place through the night—most inserts have loops in the corners, so you can tie the two together for a snug fit.. The background is not white rather it’s the natural color of the linen itself, which is all part of this design celebrating the linen plant from which all of our bedding is made. Yes, the backside is a solid blue. It gives you a versatile, reversible look and also matches beautifully with our Lyseblå sheets and pillowcases, which are available separately.
