what is the duvet insert made from?: Hi Dianne, Great question. Our duvet cover sets don’t include the insert, so you can choose one that suits your preferences. Most customers pair our covers with inserts made from down, wool, cotton, or down-alternative depending on the feel and level of warmth they’re after. If you’d like a recommendation, we're always happy to help!
Please tell me more about “pet friendly.” I love this quilt and so will our mini-bernedoodle. How well will this quilt wash? Other than a pet blanket on top to protect the quilt, I am nervous about all the white in the pattern: Great question, Karen! And your mini-bernedoodle sounds like an excellent judge of bedding 😊 When we describe the duvet cover as pet-friendly, we’re really talking about how well it handles everyday life with animals. The linen is tightly woven and garment-washed, which makes it more durable and forgiving than looser or more delicate fabrics. Normal lounging, nesting, and the occasional enthusiastic hop generally aren’t an issue, and pet hair tends not to cling the way it can with many synthetic fabrics. The duvet cover is fully machine washable. We recommend cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent, and either line drying or tumble drying on low. Linen naturally softens and relaxes with washing and use, so regular laundering won’t harm it. As for the lighter areas of the pattern, that’s a very reasonable concern. Linen releases dirt well in the wash, and because the fabric is yarn-dyed rather than surface-printed, the color is designed to hold up over time. Many customers do use a pet blanket on top as an extra precaution, but everyday paw prints and pet contact should wash out just fine. Overall, it’s made to be lived with — pets included!
Why don’t you offer Euro pillowcases to go with your duvet sets…?: Thanks so much for your question, Josh! We don’t currently include Euro pillowcases with our duvet sets because they’re typically used for decorative styling rather than everyday sleeping, and most of our customers are looking for standard or king-sized pillowcases for nightly use. That said, we love hearing what matters to you—your feedback helps shape what we offer. We'll definitely keep this in mind as we plan future updates to our product line.
